Vent Stops restrict the upward movement of the bottom sash while adding a minimal level of security to our Double Hung windows.  This feature is only available only on our double-hung windows.  They are easily retractable so it’s up to the homeowner when and how they are deployed.  Regardless of how they are used, our vent stops are small and inconspicuous so they blend into the window design very well.  Since each Ringer Window is custom-made, we can remove this feature if requested by the client.

PLEASE NOTE:  Vent Stops do not provide guaranteed forced-entry deterrence.  A determined individual can gain entry into or out of a structure regardless if vent stops are installed.  Vent stops do provide a minimal deterrence-level that works well in most situations.
