Ringer Windows are Green Windows

Ringer Windows are energy efficient windows and supports “green building practices” with all our window products. There are many reasons that a Ringer Window is green and here’s just a few. First and foremost energy efficient windows save energy and money. Our clients report saving an average of $1,200 to $1,500 on their annual heating and cooling bills. Smaller energy consumption is directly related to reduced coal consumption to produce the same energy. Less coal leads directly to a cleaner environment.

The finish with all vinyl Windows is permanent and requires no painting. Just clean with your favorite eco-friendly household cleaner and that’s all that’s required. Wood windows require frequent painting for protection and aluminum windows will suffer with faded or oxidized paint. No harmful paints solvents are needed to maintain a vinyl window. Less paints and solvents leads directly to a cleaner environment.

Ringer Windows are made locally in our Pflugerville facility and transported directly to the jobsite or your home. As a matter of fact, our vinyl window systems were designed for Texas, made in Texas, and sold exclusively in Texas. By producing our windows locally, we’ve reduced shipping costs and fuel consumption drastically, helping keep our environment cleaner, one energy efficient window at a time.

Although a new Ringer Window will last for decades, their end-of-life will someday occur. When that day happens, the vinyl and glass in our windows is recyclable. Any product that can be recycled instead of filling space in a landfill is green to us! We always like to point-out that our windows help our clients by putting extra “green” in their wallets each month with the money they’ll save on reduced heating and cooling costs.

We’d like to think that all our clients are installing new windows to help with the environment but the reality is they simply want lower utility bills and a more comfortable home. However they get there, we’re happy to help our clients create smaller carbon footprints (one house at a time)!
